GOD LAUGHS!

“He who sits in the heavens laughs...” (Psalm 2:4)

Have you ever imagined God laughing in the heavens? Think about it for a moment. Right now, God is on the throne. He’s not mad. He’s not worried about the economy. He’s not upset with you and me. God is full of joy and laughing on the throne. It goes on to tell us in Psalm 37 that He’s laughing because “He can see the destruction of the enemy coming.” In other words, the reason God laughs is because He knows the end of the story. He knows the final outcome. The good news is that you and I win. God always causes us to triumph!

Imagine watching the Super Bowl when you already know the outcome. You already know who is going to win. No matter how far behind the winning team falls, no matter how bad it looks for them, you wouldn’t get upset. You wouldn’t be worried. Why? You’ve got inside information. You know the final outcome. That’s what God is saying to us today. When it gets tough and things don’t look like they’re going to work out, we know that with God we are on the winning team! Today, you can laugh with Him knowing that He has favor, strength and victory in store for your future!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, I choose to rest and trust in You. Thank You for bringing victory in every area of my life. Give me opportunities today to share Your joy and love with the people around me, this I ask In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Wow! I have come home!
This is my throne
To sleep with you
And drink of you

What joy, what bliss what love
My heart knows it came from above
I feel you breathe, I listen to your heart
This is a masterpiece of fine art

You are mine and I know in time
I will drink this wine that is so divine
Wishing and hoping and praying
May I one day wear your wedding ring?

I give you my heart, I give you my soul
Even until that day when we grow old
You are my sunshine in all this rain
I know now I will never feel pain

No one in this world can tear us apart

“HIM” MY ONE TRUE LOVE

Once again it’s me alone

Moving on to where I belong,

From God I came and to Him I return

Eagerly awaiting the day I’ll be home

Strengthened by faith it’s not too late

I know I stand at Heaven’s gate,

In awe and wonder I gaze into Your eyes

Such truth and honesty, they tell no lies

I can pour my heart and soul into You

You never judge what I say or do,

Such peace and comfort truly exist

Far supercedes earthly bliss

In Him I place my absolute trust

My heart is singing feeling no despair,

Basking in the warmth of Your love

A dash of hope in between

Hey Sun! Don’t hide your face from me

Recreate my reality,

Reinvent your magic potion

That can tame the widest Ocean

I miss my love who’s not with me

He’s on a mission by the sea,

I ache to feel his loving touch

His passionate kisses, I miss so much

Oh my babe, I love you so

I shall never let you go,

Against all odds, I stand by you

Until this day, I have been true

I dream of you when night falls

In blissful sleep, your name I call

Your perfume infuses my senses

With you, I have no defenses!

HER LOVE SONG

Sing to me my lovely one
The bittersweet taste of a love song,
Carry my heart to the sky beyond
Whisper to me before I am gone

This heart knows, no other way
Living out love, come what may
A haunting melody crushes my soul
Can you hear it? As Her story is told

“She lived to love, facing the odds
Living a dream, praying to the gods
Only a heart that sings the same song
Captures her soul, making her belong”

“Oh foolish heart, wake up and see
You are living a fantasy”
Refusing to succumb, she pursues her song
O Love! O Love! To you I belong!

GOODBYE DOESN’T MEAN FOREVER

“Goodbye doesn’t mean forever”
Memories linger in our hearts for ever,
Although we may choose different paths
From my heart you’ll never depart

The words are few, but you comprehend
This love we have will never end,
A pillar of strength you are to me
Comforting me, in my silent plea

My friend, my love, wherever you go
My prayers, my heart, always will follow
From across the oceans, I’ll come to you
For you see, my heart, has always been true

Perhaps one day the pain will subside
Day by day, taking all in stride
I may never utter these words to you
Just look into my eyes, you’ll see they are true!

The tenderness and warmth in your voice reflect
A love and sincerity, I respect
An ODE to you, I offer with a tear
May you live long, without any despair!

GOD’S PLAN

The darkest hour has drawn nigh

But I shall never question why,

God’s plan is never straight forward

Forever he gives our just reward

This rocky mountain is hard to climb

Deserted by friends somewhat unkind,

A solitary walk on glass and fire

God’s light and faith is my attire

Holding His hand in implicit trust

Wavering never, until I’m dust

Surrendering mind, spirit and soul

My beautiful Lord keeps me whole

A rainbow of hope is on its way

Miracles happen every day,

In my path I see His light

Forever in my heart His love burns bright

GEM OF A TEACHER!

TO "ANN"
My teacher, my friend, nurturing your desire
Intent on imparting knowledge you acquire
Gallant in heart, graceful in soul
Life’s mysteries you eagerly wait to unfold


Captivating ideas, never trivial to pursue
Analytical mind enveloping the new
With tenacity you comprehend, what needs to attend
Vivaciously engaging concepts you portend

Embracing life with a marvelous refrain
Disdain twas never your acclaim
Epitome of a gem you represent
Garnishing a strength that never relents!

Articulate by nature never vain in your stature
Infinitely kind, guiding with fervour
Mirroring respect, uplifting with zeal
Perfect image of a teacher, such depth you reveal!

Why dwell in futility

Fly with love it will set you free

Allow positive thoughts to prevail

Knowing that you would not fail

Yes! We have all been stung by pain

Fruitless it is, embracing it again and again

Free will allows us to choose

Whether we win or loose

Endless tears your eyes have shed

Vision blurred when all seemed red

O! Bleeding heart with such misery and pain

The grace of God will flourish again!

My love for you will never die

Even if you say goodbye,

All I desire is your happiness

Without pain or any sadness

Blessed be the path that you choose

May you win and never lose,

Find peace and joy in your home

And may you never be alone

Enjoy life at your leisure

Live life to the fullest

Set goals without limits

Pursue dreams that you cherish

FINDING ME!

I hear My Lord beckoning me
Come my child I will comfort thee
Arms outstretched, wings outspread
Engulfing my soul that's torn to shreds

Fame and fortune I seek not
Content I am with what I've got
Music to my ears is so devine
Drifting on a song is perfectly sublime

Soaring like an eagle, free in flight
Absorbing nature in all its delight
Simple me and fancy free
Contemplating a life that's meant for ME!

Don’t let the sun go down on me

Allowing my mind to run free,

Meet me in Genoa, Italy

Romancing the night, until three

Donning your favorite negligee

Musky scent of blue sachet,

Breathing the sight and sounds of you

Strawberries and champagne, perfect for two

Close the shutter, dim the lights

The magic of us will shine bright,

Serenaded by lover’s chant

Seeds of desire that we plant

Passionate whispers until dawn

Awakening to a satisfied yawn,

Reveling in lover’s ecstasy

Fulfilling every fantasy!
