CAN WE PURCHASE A DREAM?
Is it possible to purchase a dream?
A beautiful life where no one is mean,
A world of hope and no bitterness
Pure goodness and joy with no malice
What is the cost can you tell?
Have we been cast under an evil spell?
Such hate, lies and deceit exist
Please tell me, why we persist
Co-existing in a peaceful world
Is worth more than oil and gold,
Blending harmony and love within
Sincere prayer is where we begin
Perhaps, we can find the answers in ourselves
Not looking to blame anyone else,
Open our hearts, examine it closely
Or we will certainly usurp misery!
