DISTANT SOUL
My love for you remains constant
Even when you are distant,
I wish you victory in your plight
Knowing it’s a continuous, struggle and fight
The heavy burdens that weigh you down
Detracts from the days and nights you are worn,
The silent moans I hear when you speak
Distance you further and hard to reach
Living in your mind and constant visions
Finding truths by apparition,
Indelible blisters, resurfaces from the past
Constantly haunts and daunts life’s tasks
The torch of pain you carry so bravely
Reflects strength instilled by the almighty,
Your walk with God fulfilling your destiny
Placates the pain with absolute victory!
