A SABBATICAL!
This heart of mine still beats for you
My love for you remains true,
Sometimes we need a sabbatical
To solve what’s critical
My journey towards your shining star
I shall find where ever you are,
A true heart wins in the end
Despite the twists and turns around the bend
Words spewed in anger and passion
Results in an adverse reaction,
A love that’s understanding and complete
Can accomplish any feat
The moments we share are precious
Even when thoughts are ambiguous,
My heart aches for you each day
But with faith we’ll find a way.
