EBBING TIDE!

EBBING TIDE

Our desire for love is very great
Alluding to fears, we contemplate
The many whys to close the door
Scarred by love that existed before

Growth is a process learned from pain
Rainbows are born after the rain,
Love is not perfection but needs direction
It can be harnessed by paying attention

Love is not a dream but a living reality
As the ebbing tide, complex in its simplicity
A rose is a rose but carries a thorn
Handle it gently or blood will be shorn

With grand expectations of love’s magnificent splendor
Futility persists despite our endeavors,
Only with faith, we can propagate
A lifetime of love that won’t dissipate!
